Welcome to The Local Church Training Institute
Built for pastors who actually do the work.
At The Local Church Training Institute, we offer practical, church-anchored theological education for men serving faithfully in local church leadership. Our programs are designed to equip pastors and ministry leaders through writing-based, self-paced learning that integrates doctrinal conviction with real-world ministry output. We do not exist for academic prestige — we exist to strengthen the local church, one pastor at a time.
Explore our degree pathways, all designed to be affordable, rigorous, and deeply tied to the life of the church.
Our Educational Model
The Local Church Training Institute follows a competency based model of ministry education. This means students learn by completing real pastoral work rather than by attending scheduled classroom sessions or accumulating credit hours. Sermons, ministry plans, theological writing, counseling case work, and church leadership assignments serve as the primary means of instruction. This model is built on the conviction that pastoral formation happens in the life of the local church, under pastoral oversight, through Scripture-saturated work that reflects the demands of real ministry.
“Built for pastors who actually do the work.”
